The lives of millions of people around the world are sold on the world market of modern slavery. Thus, 4 out of 5 trafficked women are Romanians - shows a report realized by the European Commission. Despite the efforts made, Romania remains a source, transit and destination country for women, children and men, trafficked for sexual exploitation or forced labour.
The terrible torments of the victims of modern slavery are indescribable. In physical violence and body traumas, mental and spiritual wounds find their place.
