History
The Pro Friendship Foundation Arad came to life in the year 2001, as an answer to the needs that my wife and I noticed in the Romanian society after 1989.
In a society in which ideals were turned upside down, in which moral and spiritual values end up in the last places, we would like to be an example regarding attitude in relationships, to get involved into the social life of our city showing love and forgiveness, offering material and spiritual help, teaching those that desire what it really means to live in peace, joy, goodwill.
All of these could be called “Changing mentality”.
We started this enormous and difficult job without proper knowledge or special training, but with a heart from God, who granted us health and power, wisdom and discernment.
The beginning was pretty shy, but year after year God surrounded us with special people who got involved in the foundation’s activity, so that today the impact on the social life of our city is noticeable.
Who we are
We are a group of different people who, over time, become more and more complementary, and together we make up the Pro Friendship Foundation Arad.
We are bound by the desire to change the community we live in, compassion for those around us and the importance that we place on being morally vertical in life.
Our motto is: “Changing the mentality!”
