Unfortunately, the foundation was unable to provide financial support to Catalin and his family.
He needs to be integrated in an education program for people with disabilities. The mother needs financial support for a DNA paternity test because Catalin’s father does not recognize him as his son.

Due to the fact that Marcela suffers from severe handicap, she will have to undergo a prolonged period of treatment, rehabilitation and recuperation. She will also need financial support from us and those who want to become involved.
Present needs: another type of Orthesis.
We hope that as time goes by and she follows the treatment she needs, Marcela will be able to stand up and even walk.
Without the financial support provided by the foundation and the donations that came from other persons, Marcela’s condition would have been the same or even worse, lying in bed for the rest of her life

Throughout November, Marcela has received another set of treatment at Baile 1 Mai Center.
Her treatment continues , as before, once in two months and it has proved it’s efficiency in time. Around three months ago, Marcela has started to stand on her feet only by holding the hands of her grandmother, she has more and more controlled movements and her spasticity is less seen. We are more and more often pleasantly surprised by her emotional communication; she reacts by laughing or by emotional reactions that fit the context.
As every year, Marcela needs to renew the papers that prove her disability. Our Foundation is involved in the renewal of the necessary papers and exams and thus in the assuring of a small (90 pounds) but constant income for the family from the state.

Marcela has received today a special wheelchair through our foundation. This wheelchair completes the gaps of the other wheelchair, by assuring a straighter and more correct position in sitting and through some other facilities too. Now Marcela has two wheelchairs, one which fulfils her needs regarding her correct positioning and another foldable, adapted for Marcela’s trips for treatments.
